Not only is it important to understand the risks involved in playing hockey, but it is also vitally important to prepare our bodies for the sport with proper training, skill development and chiropractic care
Let's work together to keep you on the ice pain-free!

Sports Injury Treatment In Hockey
Nobody wants to sit on the sideline hurt during the season.
If you or your child was injured in a game, practice, or off-ice training, you came to the right place. We treat your hockey injury with high-quality chiropractic care along with other treatment therapies to ensure a quick recovery to get you back in the game.
With any new injury, we perform a complete examination to understand how the injury happened, where on the body is it hurting, and what movements make the injury worse or better. With this knowledge, we can design a specific treatment plan to begin your road to recovery.

Hockey Injury Prevention And Performance
Injury prevention is all about setting up your body for success. Here is how we like to prevent injuries in our hockey athletes.
When you come into Kinach Chiropractic for injury prevention care, the first thing we do is a movement screen to understand what you can and cannot do, tailored specifically to hockey. This gives us a baseline to work off of and lets us know what areas we can improve.
But it isn't just about finding areas for improvement. It is also important to focus on your strengths as well! We use your strengths to help build your treatment plan and use them in your favour to help with your limitations and increase your injury prevention.
The second thing we like to do is sit down with our athletes and understand where they are trying to improve their game. We have strategies to help improve skating, shooting, balance, power and agility which can help performance in all aspects of the game, including the goalies!
Lastly, we have a network of qualified personal trainers in the Southwest Metro and surrounding areas of Minnetonka, Deephaven, Shorewood, Chanhassen, Chaska and Eden Prairie. These resources are here if you need highly specific training or if you like more of a group workout setting.
