Sports Performance And Recovery

Chiropractic care has become more and more accepted in the sports world recently. Athletic departments in the high school as well as sports organizations from the pros to the ones in your neighborhood have realized the benefits of having a musculoskeletal expert join their multidisciplinary team to treat their athletes' injuries!

Flexibility, balance, coordination, and agility can all increase from specific exercises that focus on muscle activation, building the mind-body connection. Feeling sore after a game? Our Muscle Release Techniques are used to help calm down tight, inflamed muscles so that you can recover faster than the competition.

Pairing Spinal and Extremity adjustments with the Muscle Release Techniques to help increase and maintain the athlete's joint range of motion can even further aid the recovery process to help you feel at your best for your games and training.

We work with athletes of all ages, and with all sports!

How We Treat Our Athletes

We start each new visit with a movement screen.

The movement screen allows us to understand how your body moves. It can show us what is causing your pain, where you are getting stuck, and what is holding you back from reaching your peak potential.

From here, we sit down and understand what your goals are with coming to see us and whether there are any goals that you need to hit from your coach, trainer, etc. If it is an injury you are dealing with, we look to find ways to get you out of pain the fastest and get you back into the game as soon as possible.

As we work through what is going on, we start to tailor your rehab to be specific to your sport to make sure you can handle what the game throws at you!

Whether it is a stability problem, mobility problem, muscle activation dysfunction, or all the above, we have the tool to get you back in the game from injury, keep you in the game from soreness, and increase your performance by getting your body moving the best way it can!

Don't Sleep On Your Recovery

Recovery is one of the most important areas of training.

Recovery and training go hand in hand. We need to train to get better, faster, and stronger, but we also need to recover from the work we put in in order to build off of what we accomplished!

Sleep is one of the best forms of recovery, and one you can work on at home on your own. So how do we help with your recovery? We have tools to help decrease muscle tightness with MRT/ART, increase blood flow with cupping and IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy) techniques, and boost overall circulation in your legs with our Normatec Leg Compression system!

Along with all of our passive modalities listed above, we also specialize in active recovery with mobility-strengthening techniques. This focuses on working the little muscles that don't get a lot of attention with your overall training. Strengthening these muscles can produce big results during training and help you step up your game!

Finding time to work on your recovery can be hard, let's make it easier by working on it together!
